A sweater, sweetness and sawdust

I finally finished the Carm's new sweater. You may remember it from here and here (the pattern and yarn I used are also in those links). I actually finished it a few weeks ago, washed it, blocked it and immediately put it on her so she could roll it around in her sweet potatoes. Then I thought, hmm now it looks a bit rumpled and I will have to wash it and block it again before I can take a pretty picture of it. After three weeks of thinking that, I decided to just put it on her and take a picture anyway.

The pattern is easy to follow and the result is perfectly adorable. And you know, once you get a cute little kiddo wrapped up inside it you can't see the knitting errors or the sweet potatoes.

  3. Elaine - Thanks. I really like the color on her too. Her little eyes just light up in it.

Anke - Thank you. I think she's pretty cute too. What a perfect day for the pool. I never thought I would be saying that mid-march, but it really was beautiful yesterday. That summer fun in the pool will be here before we know it.
