This is the abundance from a friend's garden. While we are saddened and suffering over the tomato blight that is plaguing our garden, our good friend was so happy to supply us with some beautiful and delicious tomatoes from his blight free garden. This offering has really kicked up the canning time around here and as busy as things seem right now I find such peace knowing that when fall arrives our shelves will be stocked.
Yes the kitchen is quite busy right now but luckily I have plenty of help from Carmel, our chief green pepper sniffer and inspectress.
