I have a couple of embroidery projects happening right now that I am enjoying so much. About a week ago now, I put together an embroidery box with some projects that I could pick up and put down easily. It has been so nice to work on something that I don't have to think about. I pick it up and someone asks for a drink and I put it down. I pick it up again and someone asks for help finding their goggles and I put it down. I pick it up again and someone....you get the picture. Little by little it does get done. There is progress. Right in front of me. And sometimes, that's just what I need to see happening. Witnessing a little of something getting done and staying done even if it is just a tiny bit at a time. It just feels so very good.
Now, what to do with these little projects when they're all stitched up. I just don't know.
Oh it is so nice to see you back in your element again. Not that you weren't in your element just that we didn't get to see it. I always feel inspired by your projects. I don't sew but I am thinking of perhaps starting a drawing that I can pick up and put down again at a moments notice.

As for the embroidery... did you let Owen draw the designs for you?
That bag looks great too! Now I was thinking about the production problem and here is what I strongly believe! Are you ready for it? Making one is great fun and you end up with something beautiful for yourself. Making three or more is a production line. I agree, but two? Well now we are looking at doing it again, perhaps in another material, perhaps for one of your best friends - you know improving your skills and adding another layer of meaning to all this wonderful work you are doing. :) Got the hint?
