Richard - Yes. The frames in the garden have a 45 degree angle much like the picture in your first link. The one that we use for Owen is the same but without the 45 degree angle (more like the second link). They are all portable and will be removed from the garden during our actual growing season here. Consider building a smaller version of the cold frames that have that 45 on them. That way you will be able to use more of the bed for planting otherwise, without that angle, many of your plants will be shaded by the frame.

Jaime, Are your hotboxes just boxes with the glass tops that you use for germinating the seedlings in?
