Sedum springing up in our flower beds.
Delighting:In the aftermath of an evening full of color and friends.
For a weekend of toddler gardening (weather permitting).
Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
I would love to see those paintings Jaime! When can I come and have a look?
Hi Jaime,I wanted to post a comment on Carmen's sweater, but I must be too late as it's not allowing new comments. I love the little sweater on her--the color is beautiful. You did a good job!
Jaime, Are your hotboxes just boxes with the glass tops that you use for germinating the seedlings in?or are they like thisI want to make one that is more portable, more like this. And was wondering how yours work?
Richard - Yes. The frames in the garden have a 45 degree angle much like the picture in your first link. The one that we use for Owen is the same but without the 45 degree angle (more like the second link). They are all portable and will be removed from the garden during our actual growing season here. Consider building a smaller version of the cold frames that have that 45 on them. That way you will be able to use more of the bed for planting otherwise, without that angle, many of your plants will be shaded by the frame.
