Do those look like extraordinarily long double pointed needles to you? Yes...well...they are something like that. I was trying to finish up a hat for Owen a few days ago and I was on that final stretch when the circular needles just don't work anymore. Where are my double pointed needles? Gasp! You didn't bring any Jaime! I started looking for about anything I could find. Pencils? No, too big. Straws? Nope, to flimsy. Skewers? Ah ha, just right. They were perfect, except for the one near occasion I nearly took my left eye out. Sharp little suckers they are! You really have to watch that.

Knitting desperation
Do those look like extraordinarily long double pointed needles to you? Yes...well...they are something like that. I was trying to finish up a hat for Owen a few days ago and I was on that final stretch when the circular needles just don't work anymore. Where are my double pointed needles? Gasp!
