Home

I have been thinking lately about the things that make our home, home. There are of course, the obvious: title, insurance, expenses and so on, but those aren't the things that make our place home. It is so many other things, big, but mostly small. These are a few of them:

:: Watching the sun creep into this little corner of our home as I sit, letting a hot cup of coffee warm my hands.

:: Andy always having coffee ready in the mornings.

:: A place to put my picnic baskets (I so love picnic baskets.).

:: Andy building lovely things like this around our home for me to admire.

  2. Hi Jaimie, I found you from a comment on Ruthie's site. I live in rural southeast Ohio, and I love meeting other Ohio bloggers. This photo certainly makes your home look warm and inviting. I've been reading through some past posts, and I really enjoy your blog. Looks like you've got your hands full, and that you're loving every minute of it. I especially enjoyed the post you did a little while back about the pinecone feeder project. Those little pinecone people were adorable (although I'm sure they've been devoured beyond recognition by now!). I'll be checking in from time to time. Have a great day!

  3. elvasworld - thank you. It's true, there is always something around to admire even if it is just a peek out of the window. So glad you visited here so that I could read your lovely poetry. Thank you.

Heather-I agree, it is so much fun to see who is blogging around these parts. Thank you so much for visiting this space. The bird feeders...would you believe the birds haven't really found them yet! I just can't believe it!
